Nigeria : Arrêté à l’aéroport de Kano, un homme d’affaires évacue par l’anus 69 boulettes de cocaïne
In Nigeria, elements of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested a businessman at Kano's Mallam Aminu International Airport. This was reported in a statement issued yesterday, Sunday, by the agency's spokesperson, Femi Babafemi. The suspect, 52, is named Ejiofor Godwin Emeka. He had departed from Bangkok, Thailand, on an Ethiopian Airlines flight.
"He evacuated 69 pellets of cocaine in seven excretions."
After he got off the plane, officers subjected him to a full-body scan, which revealed that he had ingested substances that were suspected to be drugs.
"He was therefore taken for an excretion observation during which he evacuated 69 cocaine pellets in seven excretions," Mr. Babafemi's statement said.
In addition to these 69 pellets, there were "58 packages of cocaine immediately recovered from his trousers" during the body search. The recovered drugs weighed a total of 1.38 kg.
