RCA : Abandonnée après un accident avec le cortège officiel – Les parents d'une lycéenne blessée lancent un cri de détresse

Nearly three weeks have passed since the tragedy, but for 17-year-old Ibrahim Samira, the fight for her life is only just beginning. Seriously injured on November 8th after being struck by the Prime Minister's motorcade, the young woman remains hospitalized, and her parents bitterly denounce the authorities' complete abandonment of her.

A devastating accident and a worrying situation

Samira, a high school junior, was returning home when the unthinkable happened. Traveling at high speed through the Benz-V neighborhood, the official motorcade struck her violently . Rushed to the hospital by passersby, she is now suffering from multiple fractures and a head injury requiring intensive care in the trauma unit of the Community Hospital.

According to medical professionals, her condition remains fragile. The high school student is unable to move and will need to undergo several surgical procedures before she can hope to regain full use of her limbs.

Broken promises and unsustainable daily expenses

For Ibrahim Tata, the victim's father, worry is mixed with anger. He deplores the total lack of government support despite the initial promise of full coverage.

"Since the accident, no one from the government has come to inquire about our daughter's condition . We were promised full support, but so far, we, the parents, are bearing the expenses," he testifies, his voice breaking with emotion.

Despite their modest circumstances, the parents face daily medical costs – medications, tests, dressings – that threaten to bankrupt them. “We simply want our daughter to receive proper medical care, because it is the state’s own actions that have put her in this condition,” the father insists, dismissing any desire to be controversial, but demanding justice for his child.

A desperate plea to save a dream

The family makes a passionate appeal to the authorities to finally assume their responsibilities, and seeks help from all people of goodwill to finance the extensive care to come.

“Our daughter had dreams. She wants to become a nurse . We can’t let her down,” pleads Mr. Tata.

The situation is extremely urgent. The Ibrahim family hopes for swift and decisive action from the government to prevent this personal tragedy from worsening due to a lack of resources, and to give Samira, whose life was shattered on her way to high school, a chance to fulfill her dream of helping others.
