It all started with a simple verbal altercation. The victim had shared, in complete secrecy, an intimate video with a close friend. Seeking revenge after an argument, the friend broke this bond of trust by sharing the video via the ephemeral mode of a messaging app.
Despite the message's supposedly "volatile" nature, several malicious recipients used technical tools to capture and massively spread the video on the web.
