In western Côte d'Ivoire, in the Zouan-Hounien department, the Ity gold mine is no longer simply extracting ore. Professional integration is at the heart of the mine's strategy. Of the 3,000 workers on the site, the overwhelming majority are Ivorian, with a marked priority for local residents.

4. A responsible long-term vision

For Tionaga Drissa Soro , the site's General Manager, operations must be proactive. A closure and environmental rehabilitation plan is already funded and reviewed every three years.

On the production side, performance remains solid: after producing more than 9 tonnes of gold in 2025 , the Ity mine is forecasting extraction between 8 and 9.5 tonnes for the year 2026 .
