Burkina : L'association Nong-Taaba offre des kits scolaires à des enfants scolarisés de PDI
A total of 100 school kits consisting of school supplies, 95 buckets and 6 boxes of soap were handed out by the Nong-Taaba association for people with disabilities to disadvantaged students on Saturday, October 11, 2025 in district 3 of Ouagadougou.
Girls in CM1 and CM2 classes received kits for the hygienic management of their periods.
According to the president of the Nong-Taaba Association for Disabled People, Georges Tebda, the donation was made possible thanks to the support of Catholic Relief Service.
For him, this gesture aims to relieve parents in the purchase of school supplies for their children to allow them to return to school in good conditions.
The President also appealed to people of good will to support the children of internally displaced persons and people with disabilities to enable them to complete their studies.
Founded in 2013, the Nong-Taaba Association for People with Disabilities has supported 2,725 children in their studies and today, around 800 of them are in working life, said Georges Tebda.
