CAMES : Sept Enseignants-Chercheurs Togolais Décrochent l'Agrégation - Une Performance Remarquable
Togo is in the spotlight following the results of the 22nd CAMES (African and Malagasy Council for Higher Education) Aggregation Competition in the disciplines of Legal, Political, Economic and Management Sciences .
Seven Togolese academics are among the 43 candidates admitted in total, confirming the excellence of higher education and research in the country.
The final deliberations concluded in Dakar on November 19, 2025. The awards were equally distributed between the University of Lomé and the University of Kara, highlighting the vitality of the two public institutions.

Obtaining the CAMES aggregation confers upon successful candidates the rank of Associate Professor . This status is crucial, as it grants them expanded academic responsibilities within universities in CAMES member countries, in accordance with the nomenclature in force in the Francophone African university space.
