Élections en Guinée-Bissau : Un taux de participation de 65% annoncé, résultats attendus le 27 Novembre
The National Electoral Commission (CNE) of Guinea-Bissau announced a participation rate of at least 65% following the general elections held yesterday, Sunday, November 23, 2025. The electoral body confirmed that the publication of the official results is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, thus respecting the established timetable.
According to reports from France 24, at a press conference held after the polls closed, the spokesperson for the Regional Electoral Tribunal (TRE), Idriça Djaló, stated that no significant irregularities had been observed during the entire electoral process. He specified that all stages of the voting had proceeded normally and in accordance with the legal framework.
The Commission noted that, "despite a slow start, with low turnout in several constituencies, the influx of voters increased throughout the day, contributing to the participation rate."
Idriça Djaló called on the population to remain calm and serene during this waiting period, stressing that the dissemination of the results is the sole responsibility of the Regional Electoral Tribunal (TRE) and that any contradictory information should be ignored.
