Emploi des jeunes : Mamadou Touré mise sur la reconversion face à la révolution technologique
At the inaugural "Major Events" of the Ivorian Press Agency (AIP) , held this Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Treichville Palace of Culture, Minister Mamadou Touré made a strong appeal to Ivorian youth. The message was clear: adaptability is now the key to professional success.
Based on recent data from the World Economic Forum (WEF) , the Minister for Youth Promotion and Professional Integration made an unequivocal assessment of the evolution of the global labor market by 2030:
"Don't stay stuck. Life and the world change and it is those who have this ability to adapt who succeed," the minister stressed before an audience of prominent figures, including his counterpart from the Ministry of Communication, Amadou Coulibaly.
Mamadou Touré specifically addressed students enrolled in currently oversubscribed fields such as Communication or Human Resources . He argued that career change should not be seen as a failure, but rather as a proactive strategy to maximize employability.
This meeting, which focused on the theme "Professional integration and civic engagement of young people: challenges, assessment and prospects" , made it possible to take stock of government policies while comparing the realities on the ground with global technological changes.
For the minister, the future belongs to those who can pivot towards the jobs of tomorrow, thus transforming the threat of automation into a lever for personal and national growth.
