Filière cacao : le prix garanti maintenu à 2 800 FCFA/kg jusqu’au 31 mars 2026
The Coffee and Cocoa Council confirmed, in an official statement, the maintenance of the guaranteed price of cocoa at 2,800 FCFA per kilogram at the farm gate for the main 2025-2026 season. This price, applicable throughout the national territory, will remain in effect until March 31, 2026 .
This decision provides Ivorian producers with visibility by guaranteeing them stable income throughout the marketing period of the main harvest season. It is part of the policy implemented by the authorities to secure agricultural incomes, in a context marked by volatile prices on the international market.
With this prize, one of the highest recorded in recent years, Ivory Coast reaffirms its commitment to guaranteeing better living conditions for those involved in the cocoa sector, a pillar of the national economy.
A new tariff is expected to be announced at the start of the mid-term campaign, scheduled to begin in April 2026.
