A 32-year-old Canadian man is currently in jail in Kenya. Local police accuse him of carrying out a violent attack in a mosque in the capital, Nairobi, injuring several people.
The tragedy took place on February 28th at the Masjid Westlands mosque. According to the report from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the suspect, identified as Mohamed Abdul Mohamed , allegedly entered the building around 6 a.m. by posing as a worshipper.

Current situation: Mohamed Abdul Mohamed remains in pretrial detention at Kamiti high-security prison. He is due to appear in court again on April 13 .
