Kenya : Une sécheresse historique menace des millions de vies
Kenya is currently experiencing its most severe climate crisis in over 40 years. Following four consecutive failed rainy seasons , the country is sinking into a humanitarian emergency unprecedented since 1981.
The situation is particularly dire in the arid regions of the North and East. Livestock, the mainstay of the local economy, is now worthless.
Of the 47 counties in Kenya, 23 are severely impacted .

The crisis is taking its toll on schools. The National Union of Teachers is sounding the alarm: hunger is emptying classrooms. According to UNICEF, 2.5 million children have already dropped out of school across the Horn of Africa because of this climate disaster.
