Morocco honors the Chadian press and commits to "Chad Connection 2030"

Le Maroc honore la presse tchadienne et s'engage pour « Tchad Connexion 2030 »

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Chad organised a ceremony on Thursday in honour of the Chadian press , marking a recognition of its essential role.

The event, which took place at the Embassy premises in the presence of the president of the High Authority for Media and Audiovisual (HAMA), was also an opportunity to reaffirm Morocco's firm support for the National Development Programme (PND) "Chad Connection 2030".

Moroccan support for the Abu Dhabi Round Table

His Excellency Abdellatif Erroja , Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Chad, emphasized the strategic importance of the PND, stressing Morocco's commitment to the success of this major program.

The Ambassador confirmed that Moroccan public and private actors will actively participate in the PND Resource Mobilization Roundtable, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11, 2025 .

Chadian mission to Morocco: Preparing for the deadline

As part of the preparations for this crucial deadline, a Chadian ministerial delegation carried out a fruitful working mission to Morocco from October 28 to November 4, 2025.

During this visit, numerous coordination meetings took place with Moroccan partners specializing in key areas for Chad, including:

  1. Mines
  2. Habitat
  3. Infrastructure
  4. Layout
  5. Energy and Water
  6. Agriculture
  7. Finance
  8. Renewable Energies and Sustainable Development

Win-win partnerships across 268 projects

The Moroccan side expressed its strong interest in establishing mutually beneficial bilateral and triangular partnerships . These collaborations will be structured around the 268 key projects identified in the National Development Plan "Chad Connection 2030," which aims to accelerate Chad's economic and social transformation.

  1. Key takeaway: The event reaffirms the strength of the ties between Morocco and Chad, notably through Rabat's concrete commitment to support the financing of the 2030 National Development Plan at the next Abu Dhabi Round Table.
