N'DJAMENA: L'Église de Dieu du Tchad lance trois nuits de prière pour la Nation

The Church of God in Chad, in collaboration with the Evangelical Alliance of Pentecostal Churches of Chad (AEEPT), announces the organization of the "3 National Nights of Prayer and Evangelization" from November 25 to 27, 2025 .

The event, which is of national scope, aims to place spirituality at the heart of the country's issues.

A national gathering for hope

The announcement was made by the National Overseer of the Church of God, Bishop Dogwa Kolyang , at a press conference this Saturday.

  1. Dates: From Tuesday 25th to Thursday 27th November 2025.
  2. Main venue: Abena Stadium in N'Djamena (official launch).
  3. Other cities concerned: Sarh, Koumra, Doba, Moundou, Kélo, Bongor, Gounou-Gaya and Adré.
  4. Opening hours: Every day from 3pm to 9pm.

This choice of dates is considered to have a "prophetic significance" because it precedes by three days the commemoration of the proclamation of the Republic of Chad.

Central theme and message

Placed under the theme "Thy kingdom come!" (taken from Matthew), this initiative is a call for the manifestation of divine sovereignty over Chad.

Bishop Dogwa Kolyang expressed his desire to see Chad become "a haven of peace, justice, and prosperity." Prayers will be offered for:

  1. The Nation, in order to strengthen justice and patriotism .
  2. Chadian families and youth.
  3. The Church.

Facing the ills of society

The religious leader also took the opportunity to denounce several social and moral ills:

  1. Tensions and fratricidal wars.
  2. Corruption, hatred, and nepotism.
  3. The loss of a sense of national identity and pride.
  4. Alcoholism and the consumption of adulterated alcohol among young people.
"The Church must not remain indifferent to the causes of premature death of young people," he insisted, recalling that prayer is "a powerful weapon."

These nights will also be dedicated to moments of deliverance, healing, prophetic messages and calls to salvation.

Bishop Dogwa Kolyang made an urgent appeal for a massive mobilization of all Christians, regardless of their denomination, to intercede together for a new destiny for Chad, quoting Psalm 33:12: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord!"
