Présidentielle 2025 : La CEI ouvre la distribution des cartes d’électeurs aux États-Unis
The United States Electoral Commission of Diplomatic Representations (CERD-USA) informs the entire Ivorian diaspora living on American soil of the official launch of the voter registration card distribution phase. This operation, crucial for participation in the presidential election of October 25, 2025, will take place from Saturday, October 11 to Monday, October 20, 2025, in the polling places designated by the Commission.
A key step in the electoral process, this distribution will allow every voter registered on the electoral roll to personally collect their card at their polling station. The CEI is calling on Ivorians residing in the United States to mobilize to complete this formality, which is essential for exercising their right to vote.
To collect their card, each voter must present one of the following documents: the National Identity Card or a certificate of registration from ONECI, a biometric passport, a consular card, or the registration receipt for the voter card. These documents are intended to ensure the reliability of the process and prevent any attempts at fraud.
In a statement signed by His Excellency Ibrahima Touré, Ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire to the United States, CERD-USA emphasizes the importance of this step for the transparency and credibility of the election. It invites Ivorian nationals to contact their diplomatic missions for information on the practical arrangements for withdrawal.
For any further information, the CEI provides the contact details of the CERD Secretary (240 602 3831) and the CERD President (267 854 9738).
By launching this operation, the Ivorian Electoral Commission reaffirms its desire to ensure the full participation of the diaspora in the electoral process, in compliance with the principles of transparency, fairness and civic responsibility.
