The 62nd edition of the International Agricultural Show (SIA) officially opened its doors this Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center in Paris, in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron and representatives of numerous international delegations.

For this edition, which will be held until March 1, 2026 , Ivory Coast is being honored as the guest country of honor , fifteen years after its first participation.

The Ivorian delegation is led by several ministers, including Bruno Nabagné Koné , Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Food Production, as well as Sidi Tiémoko Touré and Assahoré Konan Jacques , respectively Ministers of Animal and Fisheries Resources, and of Water and Forests.

Ivory Coast's presence is reflected in a large 550 m² pavilion highlighting national agricultural sectors, as well as the opportunities and innovations of the Ivorian agricultural sector on the international stage.

This edition of the SIA is placed under the theme "Generations Solutions" , and has unprecedented features, notably the absence of cattle due to contagious nodular dermatosis , an animal disease recently reported in France.

The invitation from Côte d'Ivoire reflects the recognition of its role as the leading agricultural power in West Africa , particularly thanks to major sectors such as cocoa, cashew nuts, natural rubber and rubber trees, as well as its ambitions in terms of sustainable development and international cooperation.

The International Agricultural Show remains one of the most important agricultural events in Europe, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, exhibitors from all over the world and numerous professional, technical and educational meetings around agriculture and food.
