As the holy month approaches, the management of Relax Driving School launched the "Ramadan Kareem Scholarship" initiative on March 7, 2026. This community-based program offers comprehensive driver's license training (category A) to 50 selected motorcycle taxi drivers from across the ten municipalities of the Chadian capital.

An opportunity for integration and professional development

The aim of this scholarship is twofold: to support youth employment and to improve road safety in N'Djamena. Among the 50 beneficiaries, 10 are young women (representing 20% of the total) , an inclusion welcomed by the Managing Director of Relax Driving School, Mr. Nadjo Ahmet Djarma, who took the opportunity to wish them an excellent National Week of the Chadian Woman (SENAFET).

"This initiative represents a concrete opportunity for socio-professional integration and a practical response to youth unemployment," said Ms. Zenaba Edith, mayor of the 6th arrondissement, at the launch ceremony.

A united front for road safety

The ceremony brought together a prestigious panel of transport sector leaders, demonstrating the importance of the event:

1. Mr. Nguéadoumadji Bandjim (Inspector General of the Ministry of Transport)
2. Mr. Djibrine Mahamat Djidda (Director of Communications at ONASER)
3. Mr. Ibrahim Mahamat Youssouf (President of the National Union of Motorcycle Taxis - SNMT)

ONASER emphasized that driver qualification remains the major challenge in reducing the number of accidents. By providing free training for these professionals, Relax Auto École hopes to transform these drivers into true ambassadors of the highway code among their peers.

Values beyond technology

The Director General, Nadjo Ahmet Djarma, emphasized that motorcycle taxis are now a pillar of the urban economy and mobility in Chad. He urged the graduates to demonstrate diligence and discipline , stressing that the training not only imparts technical skills but also values of civic responsibility.

In closing the ceremony, the authorities expressed the hope that this act of generosity by Relax Auto École would inspire other private actors to invest in training and road safety in Chad.
