Sénégal : La Sûreté urbaine neutralise un duo de faux-monnayeurs à Golf
On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, a raid by the Urban Security Unit (SU) led to the arrest of two individuals in the Golf area. Thanks to an operational source, the police were able to intercept the suspects in possession of 1,500,000 FCFA in counterfeit bills .
Charged with conspiracy and attempting to circulate counterfeit currency, the two men confessed during their police custody. The investigation remains open to identify any accomplices, while the National Police reiterate their call for public vigilance via their toll-free number (800 00 17 00).
