A murky case of charlatanism and multiple rapes has been uncovered by the territorial brigade of the Keur Massar industrial free zone. PS Seck, a supposed marabout from Linguère, is accused of raping several women who came to consult him, while filming them without their knowledge.

In August 2024, AD, a restaurateur based in Keur Mbaye Fall, sees her marriage crumble after her husband MD takes a second wife. Faced with mounting marital tensions, the woman is convinced that her co-wife is resorting to mystical practices to harm her home.

Eager to restore peace in her household, she decides to consult a marabout. It is through a neighboring broker, AM, that she comes into contact with PS Seck, who presents himself as a healer capable of solving her problems. Confident, the restaurateur goes to the indicated location, a rented room in Darou Thioub, where the charlatan claims to first consult his djinns.

Filmed rapes and blackmail

After gaining her trust, PS Seck had the woman take several mystical baths. Under the influence of the spell, the woman was forced into non-consensual sexual intercourse, filmed without her knowledge by an accomplice named Y. Sagna.

The victim's nightmare took another turn when the charlatan forwarded the compromising videos to MB, a clandestine taxi driver and regular customer of the woman's restaurant. Unable to keep the secret, the latter eventually revealed to the restaurateur that he had viewed her intimate videos, according to Seneweb sources.

Upset but courageous, the victim decided to reveal everything to her husband. Together, they went to the office of Chief Warrant Officer Abdou Fama Guèye, commander of the territorial brigade of the industrial free zone, to file a complaint.

An investigation that reveals the extent of the scandal

Investigations conducted by the gendarmes led to the arrest of P.S. Seck and his accomplice Y. Sagna. The exploitation of their cell phones revealed the extent of the scandal: more than 75 obscene videos and photos showing women in degrading positions. Several women were victims of the charlatan's actions, but only two of them were able to be questioned as part of the investigation.

PS Seck, a professional mason, and his accomplice Y. Sagna were brought before the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court on Monday, October 20. The charlatan is being prosecuted for rape, charlatanism, and the illegal collection and dissemination of personal data.
