Suspension de la juge gabonaise Leila Ndondo pour des manquements dans l'affaire Warren Aaron Pango Loungou

Judge Leila Ndondo has been temporarily suspended from her duties for three months by the president of the Libreville Court of First Instance. This decision follows breaches of her professional obligations in the case of the assault of Warren Aaron Pango Loungou , a 15-year-old boy brutally attacked by several students from the René Descartes High School in Batterie 4.

⚖️ The patterns of the suspension

Several errors have been noted against Leïla Charlène Ndondo Ngossa, wife of Leyigui, a children's judge:

  1. Non-compliant interview: She allegedly spoke with one of the parents of young Warren's attackers without the presence of the victim's parents .
  2. Obstructed investigation: The judge issued a pre-trial detention order for only two of the suspects and "referred the rest on the grounds of the power outage" .
  3. Failure to comply with procedures: This decision is contested, as it is pointed out to the Libreville courthouse that computer seizure is not a legal obligation and that the judge "could have conducted the investigation manually".

➡️ Case follow-up

The case of the attack on Warren Aaron Pango Loungou has been assigned to another judge to ensure continuity and proper conduct of the investigation.
