Suspension de LCI et TF1 au Mali : Bamako Justifie sa Décision
Malian communications authorities have decided to order the immediate suspension, until further notice, of French channels LCI and TF1 throughout the national territory.
Mali's High Authority for Communication (HAC) justified this measure by accusing the two French media outlets of having committed "serious breaches of ethics and professional conduct" and "manifest violations of legislative and regulatory texts" .
According to the HAC, the TF1 program "Grand dossier" , broadcast on Sunday, November 9, 2025 and rebroadcast on the LCI website, contained titles deemed unacceptable by Bamako:

As a result, the HAC demanded the removal of LCI and TF1 services from all distribution packages in the country.
This suspension comes amid escalating diplomatic tensions between Mali and France. Since the Malian military authorities broke with the Élysée Palace and aligned themselves with the Kremlin , several French media outlets have already been targeted. France 24 and RFI, in particular, have been subject to similar suspensions in the past.
