From May 18 to 23, 2026 , the exams required significant logistical support across the country:

1. 75,964 candidates in total.
2. 38,047 girls.
3. 37,917 boys.

When can we expect the results of the BAC 1?

Although no official date has yet been announced by the ministry, estimates based on previous years place the proclamation between June 3 and 11, 2026 .

For comparison:

1. In 2024: The results were released on Monday, June 7th at 10am.
2. In 2025: They had been posted on Saturday, June 14th at 8am.

One thing is certain: The results will definitely be known before the start of the BAC 2 exams, scheduled for June 16, 2026 .

End of premium SMS charges: A major change this year

This is the big change of this 2026 session. During a visit to the correction centers at the high schools of Tokoin and Agoè-Centre on May 30, the Minister of National Education, Mama Omorou , reportedly announced the definitive elimination of consultation by SMS .

This decision puts an end to a service that cost 250 FCFA per attempt. This is a relief for parents' wallets, as they often had to send multiple SMS messages due to network congestion before receiving a response.

How can I view the results for free?

For this year, candidates have two main options:

1. Physical display

The lists of successful candidates will traditionally be posted in the various written examination centers throughout the national territory.

2. Online consultation (Free)

To avoid unnecessary travel, the results should be freely accessible on the official government portal. Online publication generally precedes physical posting by one day.
