Behind this decision lies a desire to ease the financial burden on households. Until now, each SMS consultation cost 250 FCFA . The minister highlighted the financial excesses of this system:

1. Increased costs: Several members of the same family often send simultaneous applications for a single candidate.
2. Network congestion: Faced with technical bugs on results day, users multiply their attempts, accumulating unnecessary costs.

Describing the scheme as a "scam" that primarily benefits economic operators, the minister decided to put a definitive end to it.

To replace the SMS service, candidates and their relatives will have to turn to free and traditional alternatives:

1. Online: Via the official digital channels and platforms of the Ministry of National Education.
2. On site: By physically displaying the lists of admitted students in the various composition centers, as is traditionally done.

The schedule for the BAC 1

While the exact date for the announcement of the results has not yet been revealed by the authorities, the countdown has begun. Deliberations must take place before the start of the Baccalaureate 2 exams, scheduled for June 16th .
