Yopougon Maroc : Les cours perturbés dans certains établissements ce mardi
Unidentified individuals disrupted classes in schools in the Morocco district of Yopougon on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. They attempted to enter the Rodin College and the Rodin school complex in order to dislodge students who had arrived early in the morning for classes.
Fortunately, drivers and teachers from the said schools quickly closed the gates and formed a blockade to prevent these individuals from accessing the school. “It was chaos! A few steps from the school, I saw a hooded man running in all directions. I was scared. Many parents, like me, turned back,” reported Ms. Koné. After about thirty minutes of uproar, calm returned. The classrooms were almost empty. Informed of the situation, parents came to pick up their children. “I prefer my children to go home,” one parent told a teacher. The teacher replied that parents were free to pick up their children. “We respect the decision of the parents.”
For our part, we remain at our posts, that is to say, we continue to administer classes to the learners,” said TF. In addition to the Rodin students, those from the private Sahienin primary school also returned home. Little Esther G., accompanied by her eldest, went home for the same reason.
