Yamoussoukro : Les filières Coton, Anacarde et Karité à l'honneur les 6 et 7 février

Ivory Coast's political capital is preparing to throb to the rhythm of agriculture. The Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation for Peace Research will host the second edition of the National Cotton, Cashew and Shea Producer Days (JNPCA) on February 6 and 7, 2026 .

Celebrating agricultural excellence

Organized by the Cotton and Cashew Council, this major event aims to be a platform for recognizing producers. According to a statement from FIRCA (Interprofessional Fund for Agricultural Research and Advisory Services), the objective is to highlight these essential players who support the national economy through these three strategic sectors.

A performance-driven program

Beyond the festive aspect, the JNPCA 2026 set ambitious objectives under the theme: "Strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of the cotton, cashew and shea sectors for more professional producers" .

The event will be structured around two main themes:

  1. Recognizing merit: Celebrating the performance of producers.
  2. The commercial showcase: A product display to demonstrate the expertise of the entire value chain.
