Gathered this Monday, February 2, 2026, in Abidjan-Marcory for the traditional New Year's greetings ceremony, the teams of the National Lottery of Côte d'Ivoire (LONACI) celebrated a record-breaking 2025. Under the leadership of the General Management and the Board of Directors, the institution unveiled an ambitious roadmap for 2026, focused on sustainable performance.

A positive 2025 outlook driven by positive indicators

The past year has confirmed LONACI's financial strength. The Managing Director, Dramane Coulibaly , presented compelling figures reflecting controlled growth:

1. Revenue: 657.6 billion FCFA (an increase of 14% compared to 2024).
2. Winnings redistributed: 413.9 billion FCFA paid to bettors (+17%).
3. Contribution to the State: A fee that increased sharply by 40% , amounting to 21 billion FCFA.
4. Net result: A projected profit of 12.6 billion FCFA.

This dynamic was accompanied by an expansion of the network (+20% of points of sale) and a technological modernization marked by the deployment of new digital tools.

Outlook 2026: Digitalization and regional expansion

LONACI has no intention of slowing down in the coming year. The objective is clear: to reach a turnover of 744.3 billion FCFA . To achieve this, the strategy is based on three major pillars:

1. Digital acceleration: Massive relaunch of Sportcash and PMU across the entire territory.
2. Customer experience: Launch of loyalty programs and improvement of online services.
3. The 2026-2030 Strategic Plan: Deployment of seven key programs to position LONACI as the regional leader in gaming.

“Our vision is to make Lonaci the regional leader in games serving communities,” reaffirmed Dramane Coulibaly.

A solid and committed institution

Beyond the figures, 2026 will be a year of structural transformation. The company's share capital will increase from 400 million to 5 billion FCFA . Furthermore, obtaining the "WLA Responsible Gaming – Level 3" certification demonstrates the company's ethical commitment.

In terms of infrastructure, several major projects are progressing, notably the future headquarters in Plateau and the new branches in Korhogo and Abobo. Finally, the year will be marked by the celebration of LONACI's 55th anniversary , with festivities planned from April to June.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Youssouf Fofana , concluded the ceremony by praising an "exceptional" record, while recalling that this growth must remain focused on the development of human capital.
