Tabou : L'ex-député-maire Julien Klaibé mise sur l'hôtellerie pour dynamiser l'emploi des jeunes
Friday, June 6, 2026, will remain a significant date for the village of Bliéron, located in the department of Tabou. Former Member of Parliament and Mayor, Julien Klaibé Tchibio, inaugurated a modern hotel complex there. This strategic investment reflects his new vision for local development: using tourism as a tool to combat youth unemployment.
In front of an audience composed of administrative authorities, traditional chiefs, executives and many residents of the region, the former elected official formalized the reconversion of his civic engagement.
“From now on, [...] my way of supporting the young people of our department is to create infrastructures of this kind,” explained Julien Klaibé Tchibio.
For investors, the hotel and tourism sector is essential to stimulate the region's economy, encourage local entrepreneurship and offer concrete opportunities to young people in the department.
The Klaibé couple do not intend to stop there. Driven by the desire to sustainably transform local living conditions, the former member of parliament and mayor took advantage of the event to announce, to the applause of the audience, the imminent opening of a second project.
The prefect of the department of Tabou, Kouakou Yao Firmin, was keen to personally commend this private initiative which fits perfectly into the policy of professional integration of youth and tourism development of the region.
The ceremony concluded with a guided tour of the brand new reception facilities:
