BAC Blanc Régional UEMOA 2026 : Une épreuve de Mathématiques (Série A) jugée accessible
The major step towards harmonizing exams continues within the WAEMU region. This Tuesday, April 21, 2026, candidates in the A series sat for the regional mock baccalaureate mathematics exam. Initial feedback, particularly on social media, describes the subject as "approachable" and well-grounded in concrete contexts.
These tests, which began on April 20, will end on April 24. They aim to simultaneously assess the level of final-year students in all member states, ensuring a degree of educational fairness before the actual Baccalaureate exams.
The exam, lasting 3 hours (coefficient 1), consisted of two main exercises combining function analysis and statistics.
The first exercise, marked out of 14 points , presented an original scenario involving the development of a green space.
The second exercise ( 6 points ) focused on the financial management of the workshop of Mr. Koffi, a young computer maintenance technician.
The evaluation is not limited to raw results. The marking scheme details criteria of relevance , correctness , coherence and improvement , thus rewarding the rigor of the reasoning and the neatness of the work.
As the week of exams continues, this first positive feedback on mathematics could reassure candidates in other series for the rest of the exams.
