Employabilité des jeunes : Jean Louis Moulot dessine le futur de l'Enseignement Technique
The Cocody Technical High School was abuzz this Saturday, April 25, 2026, with the first edition of the National Technical Education Fair (SNET) . Under the theme of industrialization, Deputy Minister Jean Louis Moulot presented an ambitious roadmap for transforming vocational training in Côte d'Ivoire.
To address the urgent need for social integration, the government is focusing on local services and modernization:
Faced with the fact that a large proportion of the 400,000 new entrants to the labor market each year end up in the informal sector, the minister reaffirmed a clear ambition:
"The challenge is clear: better training for better integration."
The national objective is to triple the rate of orientation towards technical education, increasing it from 5% to 15% by 2030. This strategy is directly in line with the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 desired by President Alassane Ouattara.
The ministry is relying on a pragmatic approach to break down the barriers between school and the world of work:
The notable presence of Ministers Koffi N'Guessan , Adama Diawara, and Amadou Coulibaly at this event underscores the cross-cutting and priority nature of this project. More than just a reform, it aims to make technical education the true engine of economic transformation and social cohesion in Côte d'Ivoire.
