The Minister of National Education and Literacy, Professor Mariatou Koné , held a meeting deemed "historic" at the Directorate of Examinations and Competitions (DECO), bringing together Ivorian inspectors and educational advisors. This meeting, praised for the frankness of the discussions and mutual recognition , sealed a renewed commitment to excellence in the education system.
The representatives of the supervisors expressed their deep gratitude to the Minister.
In response to these accolades, Minister Mariatou Koné emphasized the essential role of supervisors, whom she considers to be the "backbone" of the system.
"Without quality teaching and supervision, our objectives will remain out of reach," she insisted, stating that their key mission is the effective transmission of knowledge, beyond the simple mastery of content.
To support their work, the Minister announced the continuation of the allocation of motorcycles , thus facilitating close monitoring by educational advisors.
However, she called for increased accountability , urging inspectors to revise their approach:
"Your presence in schools should be seen as support and not as stress," she reminded, advocating for a balance between kindness and rigor .
