The suspense is coming to an end for the thousands of applicants for contract teaching positions in Ivory Coast. The Ministry of National Education has announced that the provisional admission results will be available this Friday, March 27, 2026 , starting at 10:00 PM .

As a reminder, this competition aims to address the shortage of teachers in scientific disciplines ( Mathematics, Physics-Chemistry and Life and Earth Sciences ). Of the 43,761 applications initially submitted, only 7,628 candidates were shortlisted for the written exam phase, with a final target of 2,000 positions to be filled.

Next steps for those provisionally admitted

Success at this stage marks only the beginning of an intensive process. Here is the schedule and obligations for successful candidates:

1. Pedagogical training (Starting March 30th)

A mandatory two-week residential training course will begin on Monday, March 30, 2026. It will take place at two separate locations:

1. Mathematics: Ebimpé Technical and Vocational High School.
2. Physics-Chemistry: CAFOP of Yamoussoukro.

2. Medical examination

It will take place on Monday, March 30, 2026, directly at the training location. It determines physical fitness to perform the duties of a teacher.

3. Preparation of the administrative file

Admitted candidates will be required to submit a complete application including, in particular:

1. Copy of the summons and letter of motivation.
2. Certified copies of diplomas and detailed CV.
3. Extracts of birth certificate, criminal record (less than 3 months old) and certificate of nationality.
4. Identity document (national identity card or passport), CMU card and two passport photos on a white background.

Final admission

The final stage, including validation of training and medical examination, will lead to the proclamation of the final results on April 11, 2026 .
