To mark the 90th anniversary of the Boudépé Public Primary School (EPP), the Coffee and Cocoa Council celebrated the occasion by donating significant school infrastructure. The official handover ceremony took place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, under the auspices of the institution's Director General, Koné Brahima Yves .

Concrete support for educational development

Funded through the Rural Investment Fund (FIMR) , these new facilities aim to transform the daily lives of students and teachers. The donation consists of:

1. A building with three classrooms.
2. Two staff accommodations for the teachers.
3. A school canteen to guarantee students' nutrition.
4. Latrine blocks for hygiene.

"This action is part of our mission to improve learning conditions in rural areas, while also being an essential lever in the fight against child labor," stressed Koné Brahima Yves.

A historic celebration marked by gratitude

The event, led by the Boudépé Development Mutual (MUDEB) , benefited from the sponsorship of the President of the National Assembly, Patrick Achi , represented for the occasion by MP Yapi Florent .

He emphasized the crucial importance of education for the development of the Mé region, paying tribute to this pioneering institution founded in 1936. The day was punctuated by:

1. Testimonials from former students.
2. Local cultural performances.
3. The creation of a symbolic mural by 90 students , marking each year of the school's existence.

The FIMR: an engine of social change

Since 2012, the FIMR has established itself as the Coffee and Cocoa Council's strategic tool for supporting producing communities. Beyond education (with hundreds of classrooms built), the fund actively intervenes in health, access to drinking water, electrification, and the maintenance of agricultural roads, thus strengthening the well-being of rural populations.
