Côte d'Ivoire / Beauté : Olivia Yacé quitte Abidjan pour participer à la 74e édition de Miss Univers prévue le 21 novembre prochain en Thaïlande

The Miss Universe adventure officially begins for Olivia Yacé. The former Miss Côte d'Ivoire 2021 left Abidjan this Wednesday, October 15, 2025, heading to Thailand, where the 74th edition of Miss Universe will be held on November 21 at the Impact Arena in Pak Kret.

Designated last July by the Miss Côte d'Ivoire Committee (COMICI) to represent the country at this prestigious international competition, Olivia Yacé is preparing to once again defend the national colors, three years after making history at Miss World 2022, by winning the title of second runner-up and that of Miss World Africa.

The 27-year-old, renowned for her charisma, eloquence, and social commitment, has established herself as one of the most iconic figures in Ivorian beauty. Her departure sparked a wave of support on social media, with many expressing their pride and hope to see her bring home the world title.

The competition will bring together more than 90 candidates from five continents, who will attempt to succeed the Danish Victoria Kjær Theilvig, the current title holder.

Olivia Yacé, a true ambassador of Ivorian savoir-être, promises to fly the flag for Côte d'Ivoire and showcase African beauty on the international stage. She invites all Ivorians to support her as one by following her adventure until the evening of the final, on November 21.
