Côte d'Ivoire : Cinq nouveaux inspecteurs prêtent serment à l’Autorité nationale de l’aviation civile

Abidjan, October 29, 2025 – Five new inspectors have officially joined the ranks of the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC), strengthening vigilance and safety in the Ivorian aviation sector. The formal ceremony was held in Abidjan-Plateau, under the watchful eye of the presiding judge, Ms. Ano Marie Léonce Mboua.

The new inspectors – N'Gbadama Estelle Sandrine-Désirée, Abounan Akpro Bri Natacha, Kouadio Constant-Serge, Bamba Yahaya, and Ta Bi Ta Marius Trésor – took their oath before all the ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) staff and representatives of the Ministry of Transport. They pledged to ensure strict adherence to safety and security standards, in accordance with the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

In his address, the Director General of ANAC, Sinaly Silué, praised the competence and professionalism of the inspectors. "Their role is crucial in ensuring passenger safety, protecting aeronautical infrastructure, and maintaining Côte d'Ivoire's international reputation in the field of civil aviation," he emphasized.

With this new team, ANAC affirms its commitment to remaining at the forefront of compliance and technical rigor. In 2024, Côte d'Ivoire achieved a 93.89% compliance rate with international standards, ranking first in Africa and tenth globally.

This renewed commitment illustrates the country's determination to strengthen aviation safety, while inspiring confidence among users and international partners. The five inspectors, now "guardians" of civil aviation, are called upon to play a key role in monitoring, evaluating, and continuously improving safety standards within the national territory.
