The sixth edition of the National Public Service Days (JNSP) concluded on Friday, June 26, 2026, in Abidjan on a particularly positive note. Presided over by Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé, the closing ceremony provided an opportunity for Anne Désirée Ouloto-Lamizana, Minister of State, Minister of Public Service and Administrative Modernization, to present a constructive assessment and call for continued modernization of state services.

For the Minister of State, the historic transition from "Public Service Days" to "National Public Service Days" embodies the firm commitment of the government and the President of the Republic to build a modern, efficient administration that is resolutely responsive to citizens.

A forum for reflection on the major challenges facing the State

For four days, Abidjan, Yamoussoukro and 31 regional capitals became privileged spaces for dialogue between state agents, civil society, youth and the private sector.

The panels and workshops enabled a clear diagnosis and the formulation of recommendations on several strategic issues:

  1. The legal and regulatory evolution of the Ivorian civil service.
  2. Human resources management , including control of staffing levels and payroll.
  3. Optimizing working conditions for public employees.
  4. Digital transformation , innovation and a culture of performance.
"The discussions demonstrated that the JNSP 2026 fully achieved their objectives by providing a framework for reflection on the essential changes needed to sustainably improve the quality of public service," said the Minister of State, who thanked the Prime Minister, members of the government, and the President of the Council of State, Ibrahime Coulibaly-Kuibiert, for their involvement.

A citizens' plebiscite

This strong signal reinforces the Ivorian administration's path toward transformation.
