Bouaké : 37 000 comprimés de tramadol saisis par la Cellule Anti-Drogue
On Tuesday, November 18, 2025 , the Anti-Drug Unit of Bouaké intercepted a record quantity of prohibited drugs during a routine check on the Bouaké-M'Bahiakro road , at around 11:30 p.m.
During this operation, the police searched a passenger bus . Their vigilance led to the discovery of three 25-liter containers , presented as containing beans, but whose contents appeared suspicious.
Upon inspection, it was found that these containers held 37,000 tramadol tablets , each dosed at 120 mg , a drug that is strictly regulated due to its psychoactive effects and potential for abuse.
This seizure highlights the importance of control and vigilance by law enforcement in combating the trafficking of narcotics and prohibited medicines , which represents a growing danger to public health and the safety of populations.
The suspected perpetrators of this illegal drug transport have been taken into custody for judicial investigation , in order to determine the origin and destination of these tablets.
