MAROC: Drame sur la route Tanger-Tétouan : Un couple enseveli sous un camion
The road linking Tangier to Tetouan was the scene of a tragedy on Thursday, near the Hakama area, where a couple met a gruesome death in an accident. A truck heavily loaded with construction materials suddenly overturned, completely covering and burying the small car in front of it.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene, struggling with heavy equipment to lift the behemoth of metal and debris, but all attempts to save the occupants were in vain: the couple did not survive the impact.
While their bodies were being taken to the morgue, authorities immediately launched a thorough investigation to understand the precise circumstances that led to this devastating event.
