Paris : Un lycéen arrêté après avoir fait allusion à une tuerie de masse
A student at the François-Villon high school in Paris was arrested on Thursday following disturbing remarks about a potential massacre at the school. Already known for his erratic behavior and alarming statements, the adult was taken into custody by authorities fearing he might carry out his threats.
The school administration, located in the 14th arrondissement, immediately contacted the police after being alerted by two classmates concerned by the student's statements. He reportedly mentioned that a specific tragedy was going to happen at a certain time .
A security detail was quickly deployed around the school. Police officers apprehended the student, but no dangerous objects were found during the search. However, his repeated verbal threats justified his being taken into custody.
The young man was already under surveillance due to his profile and past actions. A police source revealed to Le Parisien that he was known for making racist and homophobic remarks . Furthermore, he displayed a fascination with execution videos and had allegedly shared shocking content with other students.
The student was participating in a specific program for school dropouts and was housed within the high school.
It should be noted that the François-Villon high school has already been the subject of alerts in the past: in 2024, two middle school students were the subject of a complaint for death threats against a teacher.
