Pays-Bas : Le trafic aérien interrompu à l'aéroport d'Eindhoven suite à des survols de drones
Eindhoven, the Netherlands' second largest airport, suspended its civil and military traffic for several hours on Saturday evening following reports of unidentified drones.
Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Eindhoven International Airport had suspended all operations around 9:00 PM local time due to the observation of "several drones" in the airspace.
This incident comes amid a rise in drone overflights across the European continent in recent weeks, with similar reports noted in particular in Germany, Belgium and Denmark.
In addition, Dutch authorities also revealed that they had attempted to intercept drones flying over Volkel airbase in the southeast of the Netherlands on Friday evening.
