The Palace of Culture in Treichville is preparing to become the nerve center of employability in Côte d'Ivoire. From May 18 to 21, 2026 , the 3rd edition of the National Employment and Recruitment Fair (FNER) will open its doors under the theme: "Youth, skills and employment: together, let's build the future of Côte d'Ivoire" .

A record projected balance sheet

At a press conference held on May 6th in Plateau, Frédéric Kabran, president of the organizing committee, unveiled ambitious figures. To date, the fair has already generated 83,000 concrete opportunities .

1. 33,829 job placement offers.
2. 50,000 immersion internships for young people seeking experience.

More than a forum, a bridge to the future

Jean Louis Kouadio, administrator of the Youth Employment Agency (AEJ), emphasized that the main objective remains to break down the barriers between job seekers and the professional world. The FNER aims to be a space for direct interaction between young people, businesses, training institutions, and financial partners.

The major new developments of 2026

This edition is innovative, featuring a strengthened scientific and strategic dimension:

1. A high-level panel: Bringing together members of the government, technical and financial partners and private sector actors.
2. 5 sector-specific thematic panels: Focus on Agriculture, Construction, Culture (creative AI), Digital Technology, as well as Mining and Renewable Energies.
3. 8 Practical Masterclasses: Workshops to master CV optimization, interview preparation, business creation and leadership.

The FNER is making its presence felt in the regions

To ensure no young person is left behind, the event will not be limited to the economic capital. After the Abidjan phase, the fair will embark on a regional tour from June 1st to 3rd , bringing opportunities closer to local populations.
