12e Congrès de l’UNJCI : Amos Beonaho prône une campagne fraternelle et responsable
As the 12th Ordinary Elective Congress of the National Union of Journalists of Côte d'Ivoire (UNJCI) approaches, the focus is on dialogue and fair play. This Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Media Support and Development Agency (ASDM) in Abidjan-Cocody, the president of the ad hoc organizing committee, Amos Beonaho, convened the campaign teams to set the course for a peaceful election.
The objective of this meeting was clear: to establish a climate of mutual trust before the official start of voting. For Amos Beonaho, transparency and professionalism must be at the heart of the process.

The president emphasized that the campaign—open from June 2nd to 5th—should be seen as a "democratic contest," but above all as a "celebration" of the profession. Reminding everyone that the eyes of the entire industry are on this election, he urged candidates to demonstrate responsibility and collegiality, while also acknowledging the support of the Minister of Communication, Amadou Coulibaly, and the wise counsel of the Union's former presidents.
