The political landscape of the Moronou region is undergoing a major shift. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, Antoine Kanga , the deputy-mayor of M'batto, officially announced his membership in the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) during a massive rally at Place Gravier.

Formerly a leading figure of the PPA-CI (opposition) in the locality, the elected official did not come alone: he brought with him a wave of supporters, thus marking a recomposition of local forces.

A strategic and high-level rally

The ceremony benefited from top-level political support, demonstrating the importance of this victory for the ruling party:
