Anyama : Fatima Bamba, une maire au cœur du social
In Anyama, governance isn't confined to the offices of City Hall. Elected on a platform of local engagement, Mayor Fatima Bamba is actively involved in community outreach to remain close to her constituents and staff. True to the vision of social cohesion championed by President Alassane Ouattara, she has made solidarity the cornerstone of her mandate.
On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the "First Magistrate of the City of Cola" undertook a series of marathon visits to several neighborhoods. Whether visiting the convalescent Councilor Félix Oulaï, the widow of Imam Seydou Diaby, or survivors of accidents and victims of gas explosions, Fatima Bamba made a point of personally offering her support.
"Through these visits, I reaffirm my commitment to the well-being of my people and my teams," she said.
These actions, ranging from support for sick municipal employees like Kouyaté Seydou to grieving families, sustainably strengthen the bond of trust and "living together" within the community.
