Hadj 2026 : Le ministre Vagondo Diomandé invite les pèlerins ivoiriens à être des ambassadeurs de la paix
From the Holy Land in Mecca, the Minister of the Interior and Security, Vagondo Diomandé , addressed the Muslim faithful of Ivory Coast this Sunday, May 24, 2026. On the occasion of the Hajj 1447H, he warmly urged them to increase their prayers to preserve peace, stability and social cohesion in the country.
This fraternal meeting, shared by the minister on his social networks, took place in the presence of his counterpart from Infrastructure and Road Maintenance, Hien Sié Yacouba .
Beyond the spiritual dimension, the Minister of the Interior stressed the exemplary attitude that pilgrims abroad must adopt.
"Be worthy ambassadors for Ivory Coast."
He thus invited the Ivorian community to embody the values of respect, fraternity and unity, while demonstrating rigorous discipline and strong solidarity throughout the rituals.
