Jean-Louis Billon : « Nous lancerons aussi un plan national de stages rémunérés »
Democratic Congress (CODE) candidate Jean-Louis Billon held a campaign rally on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 14, 2025. It was in Deux-Plateaux, a neighborhood in the Commune of Cocody.
Youth employment is a high-profile topic in Jean-Louis Billon's government program.
To address this, the presidential candidate for October 25, 2025, promises that once elected, he will make a fund available to young people.
This is to enable this section of the population to take charge of themselves through entrepreneurship.
"We will set up a special fund for young local entrepreneurs, to support local initiatives – crafts, agriculture, innovation, digital technology, culture – all of these activities that bring our regions to life," said Jean-Louis Billon.
The former Minister of Commerce also promises to introduce a plan for paid internships in the private and parapublic sectors.
"We will also launch a national plan for paid internships in the private and parapublic sectors, to offer thousands of young people their first professional experience, and increase the number of gateways to the formal world of work," he promises.
In his vision, it is also necessary to introduce the teaching of English from primary school onwards so that young Ivorians “are ready to face a globalized world, a world where there are no longer any borders but where competence and qualifications make the difference.”
Jean-Louis Billon has called on voters to turn their backs on the boycott and turn out in large numbers to vote on Saturday, October 25, 2025, to elect him as president of Côte d'Ivoire.
