Législatives 2025 : la CEI annonce une liste définitive pouvant exclure des candidats en infraction
On the eve of the legislative elections, the president of the Independent Electoral Commission (CEI), Ibrahime Coulibaly-Kuibiert , announced the publication of a final list of candidates on Friday evening , while warning that it could be modified.
According to the president of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), this latest list could see the withdrawal of candidates who have violated the legal provisions governing the campaign . He therefore urged all candidates to adopt, from now on, behavior in accordance with the law.
This statement is in line with strict adherence to the Electoral Code , which authorizes the IEC to take measures against any violation of campaign rules, particularly regarding propaganda, security or compliance with legal deadlines.
The Independent Electoral Commission intends to guarantee a credible, transparent election in accordance with the laws in force, recalling that the electoral competition must take place in a calm atmosphere and respect for the laws of the Republic.
