Présidentielle Ivoirienne : Jean-Louis Billon mobilise ses troupes à Abobo, terre historique du RHDP

Candidate Jean-Louis Billon, of the Democratic Congress (CODE), held a major election rally this Saturday in Abidjan.

It was in the Sogephia district, in the heart of the working-class commune of Abobo, that he chose to present the main directions of his campaign for the Ivorian presidential election.

In front of a fervent crowd, Billon outlined a program centered on themes that resonate strongly with the population: reviving the economy, ensuring social justice and, crucially, creating jobs for young people.

The activists expressed their enthusiasm. Eric OKOI, a CODE supporter, put forward three key arguments: “Jean-Louis Billon is a young candidate, the candidate of renewal. He proposes a social policy capable of reaching young people, women, and all Ivorians. Finally, we know that with him, there is hope for the transformation of Ivorian youth.”

Fabyra Koffi, also a CODE activist, highlighted the importance given to women in the candidate's vision: "Women are a pillar of development in Jean-Louis Billon's social project, and that's what motivated me to support him. I urge everyone to choose this candidate, because his CV is the most suited to our generation."

For his campaign team, this trip to Abobo illustrates Jean-Louis Billon's desire to remain in close contact with the realities on the ground and to place the crucial issue of purchasing power at the center of the electoral debate.

By visiting this area, traditionally considered a stronghold of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP), Jean-Louis Billon clearly wanted to make an impression.

He delivered a vibrant message of hope to the youth of Abobo, encouraging them to aspire to a profound renewal of the political class. He positioned himself as the alternative, saying he was ready to take the reins of Côte d'Ivoire for the well-being of his fellow citizens.
