Meeting in its 33rd session this Wednesday at the Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire, the Directorate of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) took stock of its progress in digital mobilization and internal restructuring.

Digital mobilization is on the rise

The deployment of the "E-militants" platform is bearing fruit, although the final objective remains to be achieved.

1. Enlisted militants: 1,294,853 registered.
2. Target number: 2,032,500 members.
3. Completion rate: 63.73%.

Despite these encouraging figures, the Chairman of the Board, Gilbert Koné Kafana , noted some technical obstacles. Difficulties in the adoption of the tool by some local officials are currently slowing down the production and distribution of membership cards.

Restructuring and discipline: 39 positions to be filled

The party is also undertaking a "clean-up" of its territorial organization chart. Of the 350 departmental secretariats across the country, 39 positions are officially vacant for various reasons:

1. Deaths and unavailability: 11 cases.
2. Indiscipline: 14 cases.
3. Insufficient performance: 12 cases.

The Executive Secretariat has been instructed to fill these gaps quickly to maintain the effectiveness of the territorial network, which already relies on 47 regional coordinations and more than 900 base zones.

Modernization of internal governance

Following the congress in June 2025, the RHDP is completing its transformation with the activation of four new strategic bodies:

1. Council of Elders and Mediation
2. General Inspection
3. Disciplinary board
4. Bar Association Council

The key point: By strengthening its internal structure and discipline, the RHDP demonstrates its commitment to remaining a solid electoral machine, while making a point of fighting disinformation and consolidating cohesion among its members.
