The Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) demonstrated its resolve during the 33rd working session of its executive committee, held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, in Abidjan. Between organizational restructuring and digital mobilization, the ruling party is refining its strategy for winning over voters.

1. A massive digital foothold: Aiming for 2 million

The "E-activists" project forms the basis of the party's field strategy. Key figures presented by the executive secretariat reveal significant progress, despite some technical challenges:

1. Enlisted militants: 1,294,853 members (i.e., 63.73% of the final target).
2. Target number: 2,032,500 activists.
3. Point of concern: Difficulties in getting to grips with the application by some basic managers are still hindering the distribution of membership cards.

2. Restructuring: Four new institutional pillars

Following the congress in June 2025, the RHDP strengthened its structure with the creation of four key statutory bodies, aimed at improving internal discipline and mediation:

1. Electoral reform: While welcoming the work of the CEI (dissolved on May 6), the RHDP pointed to the fragility caused by the direct presence of political parties within the institution.
2. Digital response: Faced with "attempts at manipulation" on social networks, the party is calling on its executives for unwavering cohesion to protect the image of its leader and the record of the executive.
