The National Health Insurance Fund (CNAM) scored an important point in Dimbokro on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, as part of its campaign to promote Universal Health Coverage (CMU).
This mobile testing unit screened 158 people , revealing 24 cases of high blood pressure, which received immediate treatment.
According to the director of the activity, Dr. Wilfried Zekpa , the results are significant: "We screened 158 people and unfortunately recorded 24 cases of high blood pressure. These people also received medication free of charge."
The operation was not limited to hypertension; it also included screening for diabetes , a disease now covered by the CMU scheme.
Local and traditional authorities unanimously welcomed this health initiative.
Under the leadership of its Director General, Bamba Karim , the CNAM is pursuing its national enrollment objective. As of November 10, 2025, the campaign had already achieved an impressive figure of over 22 million people enrolled across the country.
