The city of Sinfra was plunged into shock following a tragic accident on Saturday, November 15, 2025. A young man, identified as Alvo , a respected painter and calligrapher, died after being violently struck by an ambulance from the Youafla Hospital Center which was traveling at high speed towards Kononfla for a medical emergency.

The tragedy occurred in the Douafla district. Alvo had just left his home on his motorcycle, heading towards the Total gas station to refuel. It was at that precise moment that he was struck by the emergency vehicle.

According to witness statements, the ambulance driver, who had just returned from dropping off a patient in Sinfra, received an urgent call to pick up a sick person in Kononfla. Pressed for time, he reportedly attempted to swerve to avoid a taxi at the Bon Prix intersection. It was during this maneuver that the ambulance found itself, with no way out, facing Alvo's motorcycle.

A Clash of Extreme Violence

Witnesses described the impact as "unprecedented violence." The young man's motorcycle was literally split in two . The ambulance, itself heavily damaged, appeared to have collided with a "heavy vehicle," according to several people present. Tragically, Alvo died instantly .

The body was taken by a second ambulance and transported to the morgue in Sinfra. The wrecked vehicle was immediately impounded at the local police station for the purposes of the investigation.

Tribute to "Alvo the Worker"

The emotion is palpable in the community, which mourns a courageous man. Alvo was a pillar of support for his family, despite a physical disability.

"It's so heartbreaking. Alvo, despite his physical disability, was a hard worker. He managed to provide for his family. To see him go like this... it's too hard," confides a distraught relative.

Alvo leaves behind a wife, children and a mother facing a sudden and brutal absence.

A final tribute was paid to him during a vigil on Sunday, November 16. Before the burial the following day, a poignant procession made its way to the site of the accident, then to his studio. There, his colleagues and friends honored his memory by painting symbolic works together. A tragic end for this artist, struck down by a vehicle whose mission was, ironically, to save lives.
